VACANCY: ACCOUNTS INTERN

We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented and organized Accounts Intern to join our team at Meritum Business Services, a subsidiary of Union Star Industry Limited.

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Applicants currently studying at university must be in their final year.

Final-year students must submit their latest academic record together with their application and must have a flexible study schedule preferably distance learning.

1–2 years of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience

Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles

Strong tax knowledge and skills

Knowledge of reconciliations, accounts payable and accounts receivable

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications

Knowledge of accounting software such as Sage will be an added advantage

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Strong numerical and analytical skills

Good organisational and time-management skills

Ability to identify discrepancies and maintain accurate financial records

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good communication skills

Internship Duration: 3 Months

This is a 3-month internship designed to provide practical experience and exposure to accounting, tax and finance functions.
