Another Chance Alcohol & Drugs Rehabilitation Center, Chongwe District is seeking a dedicated and passionate female Activities Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing and facilitating meaningful activities that support the recovery, development and well-being of our clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, organize and coordinate engaging and therapeutic activities for clients
  • Facilitate recreational, educational, spiritual and life skills activities
  • Promote participation and ensure activities are inclusive and client-centered
  • Work with the team to integrate activities into individual recovery plans
  • Maintain records and reports of activities and client participation
  • Ensure a safe, respectful and supportive environment during all activities

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Female candidates only
  • Diploma or Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Recreation, Community Development or a related field
  • At least 1-2 years' experience in coordinating activities or working in rehabilitation, social services or a related field (preferred)
  • Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Creative, patient, responsible and team-oriented
  • Passion for helping others and supporting recovery
  • Willingness to work flexible hours when required
