Employment Information

Job Purpose

To perform human resources and administrative functions in order to maximize utilization of labour and efficiency across the organization.

STATEMENT OF MAIN DUTIES

(a) Maintains adequate organization staff levels in terms of quantity and quality by establishing a proper recruitment process in order to meet organizational labour needs

(b) Issues personal protective equipment (PPE) to employees and updates the PPE detection tracker in order to ensure timely issuance of the same as employees fall due

(c) Maintains and updates Silicosis examinations Database and ensures employees’ attendance in order to foster employees’ health and safety.

(d) Performs general office clerk duties and errands as well as maintaining supply inventory and prepares related reports to ensure efficient administration operations.

(e) Creates, maintains and enters information relating to NHIMA, NAPSA, etc into database for easy retrieval and future references.

(f) Establishes and maintains communication channels in order to ensure effective and timely dissemination of information across the organization.

(g) Provides administrative services such as completion and issuance of Timesheets, leave forms, sick notes, pay queries, updating leave register/Database, etc in order to ensure efficiency

Education and Work Experience

a) Grade 12 School Certificate

b) Diploma or its equivalent in Human Resource/Business Administration or other related discipline

c) 3 years working experience in HR functions

Skills and Competencies

a) Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office

b) Strong verbal and written communication skills

c) High degree of attention to detail

d) Data entry experience

e) Working knowledge of general office equipment
