Boarding Patron

Background

Great North Road Academy Group of Schools, located in Lusaka, Zambia, is currently recruiting for multiple full-time teaching jobs in Lusaka as well as internship opportunities. Boarding Patron and Matron (2 positions)

Responsibilities

• Supervise learners in the boarding section, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times.
• Maintain discipline, order, and cleanliness in dormitories and surrounding areas.
• Monitor daily routines including study time, meals, and rest periods.
• Provide guidance, care, and support to boarders.
• Report concerns promptly to school management.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 Certificate.
• At least 2 years’ experience as a boarding matron or patron with verifiable references.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work compassionately and responsibly with children.
