Icheetah Logtech Zambia Limited is a smart transport and logistics company based in Kitwe and Chambishi. We are looking for a suitably qualified, experienced, and results-oriented Bonded Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing and supervising day-to-day bonded warehouse operations.
- Coordinating warehouse inbound and outbound processes.
- Ensuring accurate receiving, storage, handling, and dispatch of goods.
- Ensuring compliance with Zambian Customs regulations and bonded warehouse procedures.
- Coordinating customs clearance processes and liaising with relevant customs authorities and clearing agents.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring proper stock control.
- Monitoring warehouse documentation and ensuring all movements of bonded goods are properly recorded.
- Supervising warehouse staff and ensuring efficient allocation of duties.
- Ensuring adherence to health, safety, security, and company operating procedures.
- Preparing warehouse reports, stock reports, and operational performance reports.
- Identifying operational challenges and implementing effective solutions.
- Ensuring the warehouse operates efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Qualifications & Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or a closely related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ working experience in warehouse operations.
- Must be a member of the Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply (ZIPS).
- Must have practical knowledge of customs clearance procedures in Zambia.
- Good understanding of bonded warehouse operations.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse inbound and outbound processes.
- Experience in inventory management and stock control.
- Good leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
- Good computer skills, particularly in warehouse/inventory management systems and Microsoft Office.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
