About the Brewing Process Control Artisan Role The Brewing Process Control Artisan plays a critical role in ensuring continuous plant availability and maintaining product quality in our Lusaka manufacturing facility.
This full-time position involves operating, repairing, and optimising plant equipment and process control systems, with a strong focus on measurement and control troubleshooting. Your technical skills will directly impact our production efficiency and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities for Brewing Process Control Artisan Jobs in Lusaka Adhere strictly to safety, health, and environmental regulations and procedures Maintain high standards of safety and housekeeping throughout the workplace Identify and locate plant equipment, spares, and relevant documentation systems Plan and prepare for maintenance and repair jobs effectively Perform repairs and routine maintenance to optimise plant and process equipment Apply continuous improvement principles to enhance plant operations Communicate efficiently within teams to support operational goals Contribute actively to personal and team development initiatives Implement 5S standards and maintain workplace organisation Operate and control processes in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Participate in and mentor autonomous operations teams Support quality assurance at the source of production Enhance flexibility and competence through ongoing learning Utilise loss and waste control techniques and short interval control to identify and solve problems Apply structured problem-solving methods to resolve operational challenges Candidate Profile and Qualifications 1 to 2 years’ experience as an Artisan in Mechanical or Electrical fields Minimum Grade 12 education Diploma or Certificate in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering Certified member of the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ) Completion of 2 to 3 months on-the-job training in instrumentation equipment maintenance Prior experience working in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment preferred Additional Information This position is classified under Band X and falls within the Engineering & Construction category.
