Our client is seeking an experienced Chartered Accountant to join their team and take ownership of the full financial function
Minimum requirements:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA))
- Completed SAICA Articles
- 5+ years post-article experience
- Strong technical IFRS knowledge
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial ERP systems
- Solid understanding of tax legislation & compliance
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity
Key Responsibilities- Full financial management, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow planning
- Oversee tax compliance (VAT, PAYE, Income Tax)
- Lead internal controls, risk management, and process improvements
- Oversee audits and liaise with external auditors
- Review and approve reconciliations, journals, and financial entries
- Manage treasury functions and working capital
- Provide management reports and strategic financial insights
- Support senior leadership with financial modelling and decision support
- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and deadlines
- Mentor and guide junior finance staff
