Our client in Turffontein is looking for a Part Storeman to join their team
Minimum requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Parts Storeman in a panel beating or motor vehicle workshop environment
- Proven working knowledge of body repair parts — makes, models, OEM vs aftermarket
- Experience using TMS Teamwork for parts processing and job allocation is essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office — Outlook
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret repair orders, job cards, and parts requisitions
- Sound knowledge of parts suppliers in the Gauteng market
- Valid South African ID
- Must be immediately available
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Receive, inspect, and capture incoming parts deliveries accurately on TMS Teamwork
- Issue parts to technicians against active repair orders and job cards
- Maintain an organised, clean, and correctly labelled parts store at all times
- Process and manage parts orders using TMS Teamwork and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Liaise with parts suppliers, couriers, and assessors for procurement and returns
- Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment orders as required
- Process credits, returns, and warranty claims on incorrect or damaged parts
- Ensure all parts documentation (delivery notes, invoices, job allocations) is filed correctly
- Report shortages, discrepancies, or quality issues to workshop management promptly
- Support estimators and foremen with parts availability queries and lead times
