About the Role – Dispatch and Loading Specialist Jobs in Lusaka As a Dispatch & Loading Specialist (Officer), you will play a critical role in ensuring that stock is issued accurately against official documentation while maintaining smooth and safe loading processes.

You will supervise loading staff to minimize product damage and enforce company policies and Zambian labor regulations to prevent stock loss or theft. This full-time position is based in Lusaka and demands hands-on coordination between warehouse teams, drivers, and clients.

Key Responsibilities Order Staging & Documentation:

• Receive and verify Waybills and Material Requisition Forms (MRFs); coordinate with warehouse zones and section heads to ensure timely and accurate stock staging.

Yard Traffic & Vehicle Management:

• Monitor yard capacity and site conditions; direct drivers and transport vehicles to loading bays in an organized sequence.

Quality & Quantity Verification:

• Inspect staged stock to confirm correct quantities and quality; conduct joint verifications with clients or drivers and submit documentation for final approval.

Supervision of Loading Staff:

• Assign and oversee General Workers and loaders; provide training on proper handling techniques to reduce damaged goods.

Housekeeping & Resource Control:

• Ensure post-shift cleanup and secure storage of pallets, strapping belts, push trucks, and other equipment.

Safety, Security & Loss Prevention:

• Enforce Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards; monitor dispatch activities to prevent theft and unauthorized movements.

Candidate Qualifications & Requirements Education:

• Full Grade 12 School Certificate with at least 5 credits including Mathematics and English.
• A Craft Certificate or Diploma in Logistics, Transport Management, or Supply Chain is preferred.

Professional Membership:

• Registration with ZCILT or CIPS is an advantage.

Experience:

• 1 to 3 years of practical experience in warehouse operations, dispatch control, stock verification, or loading supervision.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in stock counting, inventory reconciliation, and interpreting transport documentation.
• Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate casual workers and loaders effectively.
• High attention to detail, integrity, and accountability.
• Good understanding of industrial safety protocols and warehouse security standards.
