Early Years Teacher

Responsibilities: 

• Receive children each morning
• Settle children in before activities begin
• Prepare classroom for each day’s activities
• Plan engaging and exciting lessons and learning activities
• Teach lessons
• Provide care for children and keep them safe
• Support children’s learning milestones: potty training, feeding, behaviour, gross and fine motor skills.
• Create exciting classroom displays
• Supervise cleaning and organization of classroom
• Supervise feeding and changing according to care policies
• Interface with parents at drop-off and pick-up
• Interface with parents at parents’ conferences
• Prepare daily, midterm and end-of-term reports
• Suggest ideas to improve classroom management and class curriculum.
• Ensuring children’s personal effects are kept properly and packed adequately at pickup.
• Endorsing learners’ notebooks
• Sending links with home based on class schedule
• Planning and participating in school events
• Daily duty
• Develop and maintain a culture of high performance for class team

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience.
• A minimum of a degree in a related field.
