Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate engaging theoretical and practical training sessions.
- Prepare lesson plans, learning materials, and assessments.
- Assess learner performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate learner records and academic documentation.
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance and institutional policies.
- Mentor and support learners throughout their studies.
- Promote a safe and productive learning environment.
Minimum RequirementsMechanical Engineering- National Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Degree, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
- Relevant industry experience (minimum 3 years preferred).
- Previous teaching or facilitation experience will be an advantage.
- Assessor and Moderator registration is advantageous.
Carpentry- Qualified Artisan (Trade Test) in Carpentry or a relevant qualification.
- Minimum 3 years' practical industry experience.
- Previous teaching, facilitation, or apprentice training experience is advantageous.
- Assessor and Moderator registration will be an added advantage.
Skills and Competencies- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong classroom management and learner engagement abilities.
- Sound technical knowledge in the relevant trade.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
