Project Construction Manager

Functional Area : Projects / Construction Manager 

Reporting to :  Project Director

Location: Relizane, Algeria

Responsible For :

End to End delivery of assigned Projects – from the initial stage of Projects costing, Estimation, Floating Tender, Tender Evaluation & Analysis, Execution, Assessment and management of project progress and completion of the project. Responsible for managing and monitoring large scale projects independently from end-to end, and will be controlling PMC team.  Managing time and cost overruns and ensuring quality execution of the Project within defined time lines.

Essential Qualification: - Degree in Civil Engineering .

Work Experience Required: - Hands on experience of 12 to 15 yrs in Project Execution and Management of large scale projects – mostly Retail Malls, Multi-storey buildings – Residential and Commercial. IT / SEZ Parks etc. 

Must has worked on the Large-Scale Project with respect to its implementation from a building construction perspective.

Prefer candidates who have experience in  Factory / Industrial construction. 

Job Essentials :

1. Expert Technical Knowledge of pre-engineered or RCC framed structures.

2. Sound Knowledge of finishing material & Interiors.

3. Up to date on knowledge of latest material and technology in the field of construction.

4. Strong acumen in budgeting,  costing,  tender, negotiation and execution.

5. Hands-on on Project Management and Monitoring tools – Primavera / MS Project / Any other latest IT tool

6. Sound understanding of Project costing, rate analysis and deviation management on projects.

7. Must have handled large scale multiple projects independently  - including high rise buildings – both commercial & residential.  

8. Must be open to managing maintenance activities of such projects.

1. Must be strong in data and rate analytics and 

2. Must be pro-active to ensure execution of project well within the set time limits. 

3. Must be a multi-tasker with ability to handle complex situations and problems without escalating it to superiors.

4. Must be good negotiation and interpersonal skills.

5. Must have good communication and presentation skills.

6. Must be a team player at the same time have the ability to drive a small team out of difficult situations / issues.

7. Flexible to take up other jobs – property maintenance & maintenance etc.
