As an Officer, Commercial - Transit Store, you will play a crucial role in coordinating the collection, consolidation, and dispatch of nationally sourced supplies and imported goods in local transit to FQM Trident. Key Responsibilities for Commercial Officer Jobs in Ndola Coordinate and oversee activities of local delivery transporters to ensure efficient transport operations.

Manage import clearance of personal effects for staff arriving on site. Facilitate transport and documentation for national and international repair and return items.

Maintain close communication with Procurement Expediting teams and suppliers in Copperbelt and Lusaka to secure timely, cost-effective deliveries. Support dispatch and collection processes for repair and return items both locally and internationally.

Verify and process local goods transport invoices, ensuring compliance with system freight instructions. Ensure loading staff, drivers, and vehicles comply with site safety standards, national transportation regulations, and environmental laws.

Maintain reporting systems as directed by management or supervisory staff. Perform additional duties assigned by the Clearing and Transport Supervisor.

Required Skills and Competencies Proficiency in Microsoft Office and working knowledge of PRONTO software. Familiarity with customs clearance regulations and practices.

Understanding of company administrative structures and logistics chain procedures. Strong awareness of safety issues and compliance standards.

Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

High level of self-motivation, initiative, and responsibility. Experience and Qualifications Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within manufacturing or a related industry.

Grade 12 Certificate. ZCILT qualification.
