Sinomine Kitumba minerals would like to inform the general public through the Mumbwa Town Council that it will Conduct physical tests for Machine Operator Positions at Kitumba Mine on the selected days which is Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.

Dump Truck Operator – ADT/RDT

Job Summary

The Dump Truck Operator will safely operate Articulated Dump Trucks (ADT) or Rigid Dump Trucks (RDT) to transport ore, waste, and other materials between designated locations within the mine.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate ADT/RDT equipment safely and efficiently.
• Transport materials between loading and dumping areas.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and report defects.
• Follow designated haul roads, speed limits, and traffic management procedures.
• Position the truck correctly during loading and dumping operations.
• Monitor load limits and ensure safe material transportation.
• Maintain awareness of other equipment, vehicles, and personnel.
• Report mechanical problems and unusual equipment performance.
• Complete required production and equipment records.

Key Requirements

• Previous experience operating ADT or RDT dump trucks.
• Experience in mining, quarrying, or heavy construction is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of mine-site safety and traffic procedures.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain concentration for extended periods.
• Strong teamwork, discipline, and safety awareness.
