Role Summary for Health Promotions Officer Jobs in Solwezi The Officer, Health Promotions will lead efforts to promote sound nutrition practices within the company’s workforce and the neighboring communities.

This full-time position demands a proactive individual who will develop and implement nutrition programs, collaborate with local health facilities, and provide vital nutrition counseling. Key Responsibilities Adhere strictly to all relevant health, safety, environmental, quality, financial, and human resource policies and regulations.

Plan and execute workplace and community nutrition initiatives. Collaborate with local health facilities to deliver nutrition-specific activities, including school-based programs.

Provide nutrition counseling to employees and community members. Identify children facing nutrition challenges, manage cases, and refer appropriately.

Develop and disseminate health information materials to raise awareness about good nutrition. Regularly monitor and evaluate nutrition program outcomes to assess impact.

Prepare sectional budgets to support program funding and manage resources efficiently. Conduct research to generate evidence for continuous program improvement.

Prepare timely reports to support informed decision-making. Qualifications and Experience Grade 12 Certificate.

Minimum Diploma in Nutrition. Valid Health Professions Council of Zambia (HPCZ) practicing license.

Valid manual driver’s license. Qualifications validated by the Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA).

At least 5 years of relevant experience in community nutrition, nutrition counseling, mother and child health, school nutrition, and health promotion. Additional Information This position is categorized under Health and is based in Solwezi, Northwestern Zambia.
